Class Overview
This will be a continuation of the Biology lab class from the fall semester. New students are welcome to join. A full year of this lab course + Berean Builders Biology textbook/tests counts for 1 Honors Biology credit.
Labs will focus on microscope use and animal/plant dissections. I will follow Berean Builders Biology textbook outline. Some class time will also be allocated for short lectures over key concepts.
Required: Students are expected to read the corresponding chapter in their Biology textbook each week. This will ensure appropriate understanding of the weekly lab. They also should be journaling their weekly lab observations in a notebook dedicated to Biology. Bring a pencil & folder for Biology notes.
Fees: Last semester’s fees covered all microscope slides, equipment, & dissection animals. This semester’s fee is for the addition of a fetal pig dissection that was voted on by students last semester.
