Read aloud and pony bead craft: Secret of the Hidden Scrolls series

In this class I will begin with a read aloud from the series: The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls and then at the middle of class we will be making a simple pony bead craft (i.e, apple, pumpkin, indian corn, spider, Christmas ornaments, snowflake, ect.)

*If you took the class this past spring this will be a continuation but it isn’t necessary to have taken this last semester to sign up this time!)

My goal will be to get through books 6-9 of this series during the 12 week semester (and we will also be making new pony bead crafts!) – here’s a description of the books:

The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls is an adventure-packed chapter book series for readers ages six to nine. The series follows siblings Peter and Mary and their dog, Hank, as they discover ancient scrolls that transport them back to key moments in biblical history. There they find a world filled with wonder, adventure, and danger. They must search for clues to solve the secret of the scrolls . . . or they will be stuck in time forever.

The books include a rich cast of supporting characters, including Great-Uncle Solomon, the eccentric archaeologist who discovered the scrolls; the angel Michael, who guides the children on their quests; and key figures from the Bible stories.

*the books say they are geared to ages 6-9 but I enjoy them haha so I’m open to all ages*
