Scripture memory through calligraphy & illumination

Memorize scripture with an artistic twist. Learn about illumination and calligraphy techniques while memorizing key scriptures in the Bible. I will purchase a calligraphy book, paper, different types of calligraphy pens, and colored ink for the class to share. As we create, we will discuss why memorizing scripture is so important and how we can apply scripture to our lives as an offensive weapon, the Sword of the Spirit, against the enemy.
If by chance the student doesn’t complete the scripture project in one class setting, they may take it home to complete or complete it the next class session. We will all try to stay on the same verse, but it’s up to the student what pace they want to move at so some may take projects home to complete.
