Class Overview
Dive into the wonders of nature in Wild World of Art: Exploring Ecosystems! This unique class combines science and creativity, offering students the chance to learn about ecosystems while mstering the 7 basic elements of art: line, shape, texture, form, space, color, and value.
Students will use a variety of artistic mediums, including soft pastels, oil pastels, watercolor, and tempura paints as they stunning projects inspired by the natural world. Each work of art will explore different aspects of ecosystems, from landscapes and habitats to the animals that call them home.
By the end of the semester, their work will be compiled into a beautifully bound, keepsake nature book. This personalized treasure will not only showcase their artistic growth but also feature fun animal facts they’ve discovered along the way.
