Simple weightlifting for life (1st six weeks)

In this class we will use dumbbells and a simple total body exercise poster to learn and execute simple weightlifting exercises that will come in handy through life. Exciting new exercise programs are fun, but knowing basic moves will help create a base for confidence in exercising. Materials required will be light and heavy dumbbells of your choosing and an exercise poster ($10). I will email a link later. Whatever you may have at home would be a good start and they could see if it needs adjusted after the first class. For reference, I use 3 or 5lbs for my light and 8 or 10lbs for heavy. My jr.high girls would probably use 2 or 3lb for their light and 5lb for heavy. Jr.high/highschool boys may need quite a bit more weight.

Line Dancing 2nd 6 weeks

We will spend our class period learning one new line dance each week! No partners required and remind your boys, it’s cool to dance! If it works out, we will try and attend a line dancing night in December or January to use our new skills! Either way, it’ll be fun to just learn!

Cross Country (Last six weeks)

Join us during your lunch break to run! Last week will be the race. We will work on improving our times each week, encouraging one another, and improving physical health.

P.E. (6-9)

Ages: 6-9

The kids will play some sports, various tag games, obstacle courses, relay races and other fun PE activities.
